Do I disable my script blocker?

If you have some scripting blockers (anti-virus option) they may interfere with the installation so please test the files manually if you like, then disable the anti-virus or script blocker until the installation is completed. Once TreeWalk DNS is installed, it is possible that your security application may request permission to allow fundamental parts of TreeWalk to run. Always permanently allow these types of permissions, just like you would do for any firewall application or detection suite.

After the required reboot phase of the TreeWalk installer, please use the "Check config" and "Check server" icons in TreeWalk's start menu folder to verify that the TreeWalk server is working correctly. If the "Check config" utility reports a wrong configuration (i.e. no 127.0.0.1 as first DNS server) please refer to the additional documentation on this site and your detection program's own "Help" files.
